Patricia Wilson Smith is
a visual artist and curator working in all media - traditional
and digital. She makes unique wall art, installation art
and video and has a particular interest in site specific
has made large-scale digital artworks for the Thanet Off-shore
Wind Farm (Vattenfall) and the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury.
In 2015 her design for an exterior
painted mural was installed on a prestigious new apartment
building in Shoreditch, London.
recent years painting
has become a way of exploring her emotional relationship
with the environment and landscape, particularly the coastline
of West Penwith in Cornwall. Her paintings and prints are
a vibrant interpretation of a special post-industrial landscape
and its unique geological legacy.
also explores ideas through books, and has self-published
two books, a
child's book and a tongue in cheek 'memoir'. She is currently
working on a ideas for a third.
lives and works in South East England.
